Clipping Coupons – Save on your Grocery Bill
Due to the world wide economic crisis, people are thinking of alternative ways to save money. Clipping coupons is one of the best ways to save from spending too much money on groceries. Many people use this to save money buying household goods and food. How do you do it? Simple! Just collect coupons from magazines and Sunday’s paper then bring them with you when you do your groceries and give them to the cashier and that’s it! You’ll get discounts on the products you just bought. And by doing this you can really save A LOT!
As the saying goes if there is a will, there’s a way! You just need to be productive and patient to look for coupons. And they are everywhere! From your favorite magazine that you love to read, to the local newspaper, online and even in the grocery store shelf! Also, try to look on the label of the product you bought they sometimes offer coupons; at least you are sure that you get the product you want. Sometimes you can find good coupons in the grocery store. Look in the area of the product that you are buying, and there may be a coupon for a competing item that will save you money. Aside from these, also try to sign up for your store’s loyalty card just input all necessary information and they may send you coupons for the products that you frequently buy. You may not even have to get a loyalty card at some stores, as most cashiers will scan theirs, and you can save on their card.
Feeling lazy clipping coupons? Motivate yourself by thinking of coupons as money because they really are as good as money. You can even do this while watching television or do it in any of your spare time. It’s already like a bonus! And even kids can participate in cutting out coupons. It can also develop their mathematical abilities and be able to teach them how to save money at their early age. To keep you going you can even dare yourself to buy groceries for just a certain or target amount and with all the savings that you made you can buy yourself a present for being so resourceful. A trick to maximize the use of coupon is by waiting for the product to be on sale and by combining the coupons you can save up to 90% and that really is a lot!
If you have any extra time, try to organize your coupons as some of them might get expired soon so better use them immediately so they won’t get wasted. Use a folder or box where you can place all your coupons then put the coupon that will expire the soonest at the front so you will not forget to use them.
However, there are also coupons that are not accepted when redeemed in stores so be careful on fraud coupons like internet printed coupons some of them are true and unfortunately some are not. So better make sure to ask the cashier first if they are accepting the ones you have.
Got a lot? Share it with your friends, you can give them coupons that you think you will not need or you can even swap it with your group of friends with the ones that they will not use. I have seen some people at the grocery store who leave with baskets of groceries, and their total on their bill is 0! They do this by clipping coupons, shopping smart, and taking advantage of double and triple coupon deals that some grocery stores have!
